Dr. Arain is a board-certified pathologist with sub-specialty fellowship training in gastrointestinal and liver pathology at David Geffen School of Medicine. She also completed her fellowship training at University of California, Irvine in cytopathology. Dr. Arain joined NeoGenomics in 2014 and over her career, she has provided services to high volume GI pathology practices with the opportunity to regularly review the most challenging and complex gastrointestinal cases. She holds extensive experience in the busy BioPharma and clinical trials services. She has been the principal investigator for a multitude number of studies. She regularly participates and advises BioPharma sponsors regarding the study design, validations, and scorning methods and evaluation of tissue samples in support of both prospective and retrospective studies. In addition, Dr. Arain has been extensively involved with digital slide image analysis to support real time diagnostic, BioPharma, and artificial intelligence driven services. She has held positions as lab director and CAP inspector. Lastly, Dr. Arain has spoken at several conferences and has been involved in research projects and publications.
